1. What Is This Program?

Contractor Money (C-Money) is a business management platform for independent contractors and trade professionals. As part of our service, contractors use C-Money to send appointment-related SMS (text message) notifications to their customers.

These messages are transactional in nature and may include:

  • Appointment reminders and confirmations
  • Technician en-route and arrival notifications
  • Scheduling and rescheduling alerts
  • Job completion updates
  • Estimate approval links
  • Invoice and payment links

Messages are sent only in connection with service appointments that customers have scheduled with a contractor who uses the C-Money platform. No marketing or promotional messages are sent through this program.

2. How Consent Is Collected

Customers provide consent to receive SMS appointment notifications through one of the following methods:

  • Online scheduling: When a customer schedules service through the C-Money platform, they provide their mobile phone number and agree to receive appointment-related text messages via a consent checkbox during the scheduling process.
  • Phone or in-person booking: When a customer schedules service by phone or in person, the contractor verbally informs the customer that appointment notifications will be sent via text message and obtains their verbal consent before adding their phone number.

In all cases, consent is obtained before the first message is sent. Customers are informed of message frequency, data rates, and how to opt out at the time of consent.

3. Opting Out

You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts will be sent from that campaign.

To resubscribe, reply START to the same number.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier and plan. Contractor Money is not responsible for any charges from your wireless provider. Contact your carrier for pricing details.

6. Supported Carriers

SMS messages are delivered through major U.S. wireless carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most regional carriers. Carrier support may vary. Messages may not be available on all carriers or devices.

7. Privacy
